GT500 FR Mustang Spotted In Dearborn, Michigan

You are reading the title right, a GT500 FR which stands for Ford Racing was spotted roaming the streets of Dearborn, Michigan.  Over at BlueOvalNews somebody got a video and still images of this beast as it stopped for a fill up at a gas station. A few things I noticed from the video was the Ford Racing windsheild decal, no Shelby lettering, GT500 FR decals & side stripes, Racing style seats with safety belts, hood pins, painted mirrors and is that a nitrous bottle or fire entingusher in the back seat.

Could this be the next Cobra 'R' model from Ford, dubbed GT500 FR. Your guess is as good as mine but don't get your hopes up because this could just be a big fraud or somebody customizing their own car to have a unique look. If anybody has any insight please post in the comments.

    This is just the Shelby Mustang GT 500 that got modified with nitro, nothing more. There is no fuss to make about it. What I would like to see is the KR version.
