Looks like everybody is jumping on the "We Have A Spy Photo" bandwagon these days even if it's just a rendering to get some free pub. This time Brenda Priddy and company have come up with their own rendering of what the next generation Mustang will look like and I have to say while the changes are simple it's probably going to be close to what the actually Mustang will look like. The most signifigant area that pops out to me in the illustration is the front fascia with it being more sleek and Shelby like. For some reason the stance looks a bit wider and the wheels seem to be at least 18" and possible 19". Other then that not much can be had from this illustration and remember it's just that an illustration so you have to take it for what it's worth.

B/c of the diehards .... Mustang has been around for 40+ yrs!! Camaro and Challenger haven't. In 1974 the Mustang was the Car of the Yr by Car and Driver. This period of the Mustang is considered by some (Mustang entusiasts), the low point for the Mustang, but if not for stang 2s, the Mustang would not have survived (FYI, I am a baised Mustang ii owner, for the uninformed, the stang 2 is the lightest Mustang, best suspension, you'll see the suspension cut off for a HotRod, and the least common at car shows, but in the future I can see them in pristine condition going for more than originals) A stang 2 sold on ebay for about 12K. That's just the beginning in my opinion.
Several yrs ago, GM could not keep up with Mustang's popularity and discontinued the Camaro and Firebird, but the stang kept rolling off the line!! I do think if the Camaro comes back, the first yr or 2 will out sell the Mustang b/c of novelty, but in the long run, the Mustang will be around for another 40 yrs or longer, b/c it is a true American legend!! As long as there is a FoMoCo, there's going to be a Mustang!!!
