Another Shelby Mustang Coming This Year

Carroll Shelby and Ford are collaborating again for a third vehicle due out later this year. Could it be a 2007 Shelby GT-350, well your guess is as good as mine and we will have to wait to find out. Ford gave this announcement to dealers at meetings in Las Vegas this week but no specific details have come out about the model. Ford has said the formal announcement will come via a webcast on it's FordBoldMoves.com website next week. Many fans have speculated Shelby and Ford will release a car similiar to the Shelby GT-H which is only available at Hertz for rental.

The one model on everybody's mind is the Shelby GT-350 which would make sense since Shelby has already created a monster GT500 and low end Shelby with the GT-H. A Shelby GT-350 would make owning a Shelby Mustang a reality for most as the car would be affordable and in the price range of most Mustang fans.

Check back here for the webisode as we will have it the day it comes out.

  3. I just vivited my Ford dealer here in Las Vegas yesterday. I've had my name on the list for over a year for the GT 500 and they just got their first one in so I went down to see it. As I was talking to the Fleet Manager he said that Ford was planning on a GT 500 KR with 600HP as a limited production of 3000 units in 2008.
