In the world of custom car parts
Classic Design Concepts stock is rising fast with parts like the Glassback roof for 2005-06 Mustangs which debuted in the fall of 2004 at the SEMA show. From it's introduction at the show it has been one of the most talked about and anticipated parts for the S197 Mustang. To meet the high demand, sunroof giant Webasto Product North America, Inc., and the Mustang specialists at CDC announce their partnership on this venture.
The laminated panoramic glass roof will be manufactured in the United States by CDC and distributed throughout North America by Webasto. With hundreds of authorized installers servicing new car dealerships across North America, Webasto will make the Glassback available as an option on new and used vehicle purchases. Enthusiasts who already have purchased Mustangs will be able to have their vehicles’ "retrofitted" by contacting Webasto or the nearest Glassback authorized installer.
The Glassback roof takes the classic fastback look of the Mustang coupe and adds the open-air feeling of a
convertible. The high performance solar glass runs from A- to B- pillar, radically opening up the interior and adding sunshine without the wind or noise. Innovative Vanceva PVB technology protects the interior from the sun’s UVA and UVB radiation. The roof’s 50+ ultraviolet protection factor (the highest rating available), helps keep passengers cool. The roof will be available in select areas by the middle of May, 2006.
CDC is a company of Quantum Tecstar (Nasdaq: QTWW).
