Alloy Clearcoat Metallic GT500 Spied

Have you been wondering what the mysterious color called Alloy Clearcoat Metallic looks like. Well look no further because Robert Lane over at StangsUnleashed.com camped out one morning to get some photos and video of a 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible in Alloy Clearcoat Metallic skin.

To me the color almost looks like Charcoal Black but is a little lighter. The Convertible wears the Silver GT500 side stripe. Also in the pic you can tell the convertible top is made from the same cloth used on the 2003-04 Cobra convertibles which was a good decision over previous tops. Check out StangsUnleashed.com for more video and photos of this GT500.

  1. Interested in knowing if the Alloy color is as dark as it looks and it seems to look like the color of the Dodge Magmum? Also, I could not see the stripping and was wondering if you have any better pictures of the car that can be emailed?
    thanks

  2. You can faintly see the striping on the side, it is silver. You can check out StangsUnleased.com for more pics. They have like 6 or so.
