The release of the equipment will allow GM to look elsewhere for other suppliers to take over the parts manufacturing.  GM also states a delay of one day could cause a shutdown of GM's assembly operations along with disrupting GM's countless suppliers, dealers, customers and other stakeholders.  If a new supplier is not found by January 12th, GM will be forced to delay the Camaro.
