Mercedes management has finally decided to drop one of the most ill-conceived cars of the decade, the utterly useless R63 AMG. The decision was a no-brainer for the execs, who realized that customers were mainly buying the R-class for its space and comfort, not those after a pseudo sports car/minivan/SUV/whatever. I fantasize sometimes that I run one of the big car companies. In my fantasy a team of designers bring me the blueprints for a new car and after a careful 11 second consideration I fire the whole lot of them on the spot.
That's definitely what would have happened had I been at the top of MB when those rejects from the Chris Bangle School of Automobille Design came up with the R class. And while I was at it I would fire the whole MB interior design team.
PS - I also fantasize that I have to choose between Eva Green and Anne Hathaway and end up taking them both... But that's neither here nor there...
