In the nameplate rankings, Lexus ranked the highest for an eighth consecutive year and scored a total 866 points also on a 1,000-point scale. Lexus continued to perform particularly well in three out of four key measures, which included quality/reliability, service satisfaction and vehicle appeal.
In a surprise outcome, Skoda was rated the second most satisfying brand, with a score of 846, ahead of Honda on 844, Toyota on 836 and Jaguar on 833.
The 2008 UK Car Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Study was based on the evaluations of more than 16,000 UK car owners after an average of two years of ownership. The study included 28 brands and 100 models.
Owners provided detailed evaluations of their vehicles and dealers, and gave feedback on four key measurements of satisfaction. In order of importance, they are: quality and reliability (30%); vehicle appeal (28%), which includes performance, design, comfort and features; dealer service satisfaction (22%); and ownership costs (19%), which includes fuel consumption, insurance and costs of service/repair.

Toyota, Lexus, Honda on top nothing new, but skoda? That's quite incredible actually to think that Skoda is the best built amongst VW group despite being probably the most budget brand

Skoda have been near the top since the octavia MK1 came out
One thing they do really well in the UK is the dealer experience - Skoda dealers tend to be smaller companies - companies with a passion about cars - rather than bigbuck mega sights which shift numbers - therefore they score very highly on dealer experience!
