The car is in fact currently owned by ex-professional footballer Hugh McAuley but he’s offered it up for sale for an undisclosed price, according to the guys at Piston Heads. The car’s original price tag was around the €1 million mark but you can bet this latest car will go for significantly more considering its exclusivity and the amount of demand there was for the car straight after the show.

There is only one thing sillier than paying top dollar for a car, and that's paying a HUGE markup! But these people have so much monay it doesn't even affect them. It's like buyiong a Honda Civic for the rest of us, and getting screwed out of another 2 or 3 thousand...

I think it looks kind of weird but if I had Jay Leno's money, I'd still but one just so I can say I have a car that rare.

And I was at the Ford dealer the other day, and they had a Ford GT on the floor. $75k markup. You read that right, on TOP of the MSRP.
Oy.
It's like when the first new Mustangs came out and they wanted $5k on top of the price. I told the guy "buddy, this car will be on every rental lot in the country in about 6 months, so stuff it!"

Well the actual post announcing they have a Reventon for sale has some other guy moaning in the comments about his company supposedly having the only Lambo Reventon in the UK.
I do like the David Beckham speculation on Piston Heads though.
