According to Edmunds, the production version of the CTS Coupe is almost identical to the concept version showcased at January’s Detroit Auto Show. The coupe’s front-end is shared with the CTS sedan but the rear quarters are all-new and the doors feature the same touch-pad releases as used by the Corvette.
The rear of the coupe will be dominated by a centrally mounted exhaust stack, tall vertical lamps and an almost flat rear window.
There was no mention of a high-performance CTS-V version at the private unveiling but a number of distinct prototypes sporting the same oversized wheels and brakes as the sedan version almost guarantees its existence.
Original: Cadillac has three major model introductions planned for the next two years with the first new model, the CTS wagon, set to enter production early next year before going on sale in global markets by the end of the first half of the year. The new wagon will be revealed for the first time later this year and is designed to compete with premium wagons like BMW’s 3-series Touring and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate range.
The CTS wagon will be followed soon after by a coupe variant of the same car. The new CTS coupe will be heavily based on the concept car revealed at January’s Detroit Auto Show and could be simply called the ‘CT’ coupe when its launched next year.
Both vehicles will join their sedan sibling at GM’s Lansing Grand River assembly plant in Michigan, with production for both cars to start early next year. The Lansing plant is currently responsible for the CTS, STS and SRX models.
According to the Lansing State Journal, Cadillac will also launch a diesel version of the CTS to be sold in Europe around the same time. Next year will also see the introduction of the redesigned SRX midsize SUV, which you can see an official rendering of by clicking here.

I love this car, I really hope a V-series version with the supercharged V8 is true, that car will be fantastic.

This is the ONLY badge that has any chance for GM to succeed~period! For reals, GM cannot survive and should know that hybridization of their vehicles can only do wonders, not to mention for the environment also. No on Global Warming~and dat's real!
