At this week’s Paris Motor Show Lada took the wraps off the third model in the Revolution series, revealing a closed sports coupe that will be further developed for a new race series planned for next year. The latest model, aptly named the Revolution 3, features a plastic body sitting on a lightweight steel chassis and weighs a total 1,103kg.
Engine options include a Renault-derived 2.0L turbocharged engine with 245hp (182kW) on tap or a new 3.7L V6 sourced from Nissan with 350hp (261kW) on tap.
While the Revolution 3 is purely a design study with no working parts, next year’s Frankfurt Motor Show will see a production version of the car that will be available for sale to private racing enthusiasts by early 2010.

Ive never heard of Lada, its good to see new emerging companys being made, but Lada needs to be more advanced in its technology, it needs to think alternitive based enginering
and leave the petrol based engine behind.
