At an auction in Monterey, a McLaren F1 that its owner upgraded to LM spec sold for a staggering $13.75 million. This represents one of the highest prices paid for the Brit supercar, though no doubt examples—such as the uber-rare LM and GT versions—have privately traded hands for even higher figures.

Lexus has unveiled two updated vehicles in Monterey, one of which was a 2016 LX 570. The exterior has been virtually redesigned from the ground up, with only the door skins carrying over from the previous model year. Sadly, the thirsty V-8 of the previous model year also carries over.

This sexy beast is actually called the Beast. It comes from Californian startup Rezvani, which this week delivered the first example of the car. The first example happened to go to singer Chris Brown, who paid a $35,000 premium to take immediately delivery. In case you’ve forgotten, the Rezvani Beast is an ultra-exclusive, carbon fiber-bodied track weapon with 500 horsepower on tap, and it can be yours for $165,000.
