Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has been busy announcing 2015 model year updates for a number of its cars, but one model in particular has been noticeably absent. We are, of course, talking about the Chrysler 300, updated versions of which have been spied in prototype form.

FCA has now confirmed that the updated Chrysler 300 will make its debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show in November before reaching showrooms in the first quarter of 2015. The only official comment is that the car will be “thoroughly refreshed.”

Based on our spy shots, we’re expecting revised styling front and rear, and a number of enhancements in the cabin.

Sadly, we hear that the 300 SRT option is being dropped, since SRT has been repositioned as the official tuner for Dodge. This means that the most powerful model will likely come with a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, although it’s also possible that the 300 SRT and its more potent 6.4-liter V-8 will continue minus the SRT badge.

We’ll know soon enough. The L.A. Auto Show this year gets underway November 20. Follow our complete coverage of the event via our dedicated hub.
