If we challenged you to name a supercar from Italy, chances are good you’d say the Lamborghini Aventador, the Ferrari 599 GTO or perhaps even the Pagani Huayra. If we changed the country to Germany, you’d probably pick the Porsche Carrera GT or perhaps even the Ruf CTR Yellow Bird.

From America, you could select the SSC Ultimate Aero or maybe even the Corvette ZR1. Naming a supercar from Slovenia, on the other hand, would have proven difficult until now.

Tushek Supercars, founded by Aljosa Tusek, hopes to change that, and it’s debuting the new Tushek Renovatio T500 at the upcoming 2012 Top Marques Monaco show. Created to bring the race-car experience to a daily-driver automobile, the Renovatio T500 promises to be as enjoyable as “an exquisite night with a wonderful lover,” which we should point out are Tushek’s words, not our own.

The T500 sports a removable hardtop and scissor doors, while the overall styling is  vaguely Lotus-esque. The chassis is made from chrome-moly steel, and it supports a body made from carbon fiber and carbon composites to keep weight to a minimum. In fact, the claimed curb weight is just under 2,500 pounds.

Power comes from an Audi-sourced 4.2-liter V-8, good for 450 horsepower and married to a six-speed manual gearbox. Tushek claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 3.7 seconds, as well as a top speed in excess of 310 km/h (193 mph).

Ensuring that the car stops as well as it goes, the T500 gets carbon-ceramic brake rotors, with six-piston calipers up front and four-piston caliper in the rear. The carbon-fiber rear wing is functional, too, and can be adjusted to provide more or less downforce as the driver sees fit.

There are plenty of luxury features, too, including automatic climate control, keyless entry, a leather and alcantara interior and even an included navigation system. There’s no word yet, however, on when the Renovatio T500 will hit the market, or what the asking price will be.
