The Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 truly is a sight to behold. Words and photos just cannot describe how good the car looks in person; clean surfaces, aggressive lines and muscular proportions are combined in a way that only Lamborghini’s designers can achieve, making it look like nothing else on the planet... apart from the larger Aventador.

And the man primarily responsible for the Huracán’s new look is Filippo Perini, head of Centro Stile Lamborghini. He explains that while the goal in designing the Aventador was to introduce new themes for the Lamborghini brand,  the goal for the Huracán was about arriving at a design that was both extreme and daily usable.

We think Perini and his team have done a marvelous job, and no doubt this will be reflected in the sales of the Huracán. The car has already managed to rack up more than 700 orders in its first month of being shown to potential customers, and more than 300 of those are from North America alone. To put into perspective how big of a deal that is, in all of 2013 Lamborghini only sold 2,121 cars.

As previously reported, the Huracán packs a mid-mounted 5.2-liter V-10 engine rated at 601 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and advanced all-wheel-drive system. The 0-62 mph sprint is said to take just 3.2 seconds and top speed is said to be around 202 mph.
