We’ve just driven the Porsche 918 Spyder and have posted a full review. The car is so quick that it even makes a Porsche 911 Turbo S feel slow, and with a removable roof it’s got a major advantage over its rivals from Ferrari and McLaren. Here’s a photo of the Porsche 918 Spyder after a day at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas.

Audi is currently testing its second-generation R8 on public roads and race tracks in Europe. This week we got our hands on a video showing a prototype on Germany’s Nürburgring. The car looks very fast in the video, and it sounds impressive. It should be another hit for Audi.

McLaren’s 12C is bowing out of the market to make way for the new 650S, a faster and comfier version with more dramatic styling to boot. The LFA isn’t your run-of-the-mill Lexus, so it should come as little surprise that when it’s due for a service, owners can’t simply roll up to their local Lexus dealership. While in the U.S. LFA owners are looked after by a handful of specialized dealerships, over in Europe the TMG skunk works in Cologne, Germany treats the car just like a Le Mans racer.

Aston Martin is returning to the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race this year with a 2014-spec V12 Vantage GT3, which we see here in testing. After leading for much of the race last year, Aston’s best finish was 10th overall. The automaker is confident, though, it can claim the top spot and is about to embark on the third year of a five-year attempt to achieve that goal.

2015 Ford Mustang GT Convertible

It's no longer enough for a car to be merely fast, or to look great, or to use as little fuel as possible. Modern cars have to do all of those things and more, which is why Ford's 2015 Mustang isn't just its most technologically-advanced ever, but its most efficient too. A video this week from Ford explains all the aerodynamic tweaks.
