The Acura TSX is soldiering on into what’s expected to be its last year on the market, so--understandably--there have been few changes for the latest model year. Pricing for the range now starts at $31,530, including $895 in destination, which gets you the four-cylinder TSX sedan equipped with a five-speed automatic. This represents just a $125 price increase from last year.

If you want a manual transmission, you’ll have to opt for the TSX Special Edition, which costs $1,000 more and adds a dark leather interior with contrast stitching. Unfortunately, the manual option isn’t available on V-6-equipped TSX models. The base TSX V-6 model starts $40,170, including destination, but comes standard with TSX’s available Technology Package.

The TSX Sport Wagon is still available and is priced from $32,880, including destination. It’s only available with a four-cylinder and automatic transmission.

The TSX’s four-cylinder engine is a 2.4-liter unit, rated at 201 horsepower. The V-6 displaces 3.5-liter and delivers 280 horsepower.

All TSX models come well equipped. Standard goodies include xenon headlights, a glass moonroof, 17-inch aluminum wheels (18-inch wheels on V-6 models) and power adjustable seats. The Technology Package adds niceties such as navigation, a reverse camera, a 15-GB storage device and a 10-speaker premium sound system.

The current TSX has been on sale since the 2009 model year and is due to be replaced soon. Acura is yet to confirm whether the TSX will have a direct replacement but we’ve already spotted prototypes for a car that is likely to replace both the TSX and slightly larger TL. This new car is likely to be called the TLX and should be on sale next fall.
