Lamborghini is sending out its Gallardo in style, launching today at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show the final Gallardo variant, the hardcore Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse. As its name suggests, the car has been developed by Lamborghini’s new racing department Squadra Corse and features many of the same components used on the Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo race car.

One of those components is a 562-horsepower 5.2-liter V-10, which in the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse helps rocket the car to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 199 mph.

Sadly, only 50 examples are being built in total, and only 15 of these will reach North America, priced from $259,100 a piece. The good news is that after the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse comes the replacement for the Gallardo, the recently spied Cabrera (name not confirmed).
