You just saw footage of workers at the Pagani factory in Italy putting the final touches on a blue carbon Zonda Revolucion, one of the five examples of the final iteration of the Zonda supercar. Now watch the car stretch its legs on a race track.

Supercar spotter Shmee150 has posted up the first video of the Zonda Revolucion in motion, and the footage is every bit as exciting as you’d expect an 800-horsepower supercar unleashed on a race track to be. If you look closely, you'll see that the car is still wearing a protective wrap, as it is yet to be delivered to its lucky owner.

As mentioned, only five examples of the Zonda Revolucion will be built. The car packs Pagani’s latest technology, including an 800-horsepower version of the 6.0-liter V-12 engine fitted to the previous Zonda R. Joining the mighty mill is a carbon-titanium monocoque chassis, track-tuned suspension, a six-speed sequential gearbox, and active aerodynamics complete with a Formula One-inspired DRS (Drag-Reduction-System).

Pagani says the Zonda Revolucion is more extreme than the Zonda R, which means it’s likely to beat the latter’s 6:47 Nürburgring lap time. However, like the Zonda R, the latest Zonda Revolucion isn't street legal, so whatever time it sets for a lap of the Green Hell it won’t be compared against the times of other contemporary supercars like the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.

The cost of the Zonda Revolucion starts at over $2.8 million, but all five examples destined for production are almost certainly spoken for.
