When you want to make a gorgeous promo video for a car in the States, you are most likely going to end up somewhere along the California coast. The sweeping vistas, endless glory of the Pacific Ocean, and absolutely wonderful roads combine for a perfect visual symphony.

When you're an Italian coachbuilder swelling with national pride, however, you can keep your video more regionally focused. Especially when you have access to empty roads in the hills of Tuscany. That's where niche supercar marque Mazzanti has chosen to show off its Evantra.

It's a short, dramatic video speaks to the drama of the car itself. Said drama is delivered by way of a mid-mounted 7.0-liter V-8 engine that has been worked on to create 751 horsepower and 635 pound-feet of torque. It sends that energy out to the rear wheels through a 6-speed sequential transmission. All of that power is put to good use considering the car weighs just 2,900 pounds. It will make the dash from 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds or less and it has a reported top speed of over 225 mph.

The video is shot like an action sequence filled with plenty of beauty shots achingly produced as the light began to dip below the horizon. It all comes together though, and the hard work of the production team has paid off. This is a lovely video about an interesting car.
