The long-anticipated Jaguar F-Type Coupe is coming. It’s not quite here yet—fully, anyway—but it’s definitely coming, at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. Today, we get our second preview of what to expect, this time in the form of a look over the rear fender of the sleek new hardtop.

Jaguar's first teaser image gave us a top-down view of the car, showing off its glass roof.

Debuting in production form with few deviations from the stunning C-X16 Concept, first shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Jaguar F-Type Coupe will go on sale in the U.S. in the spring of 2014.

Other than that, Jaguar hasn’t yet revealed anything about the car—except the single photo shown above. From the photo, we can see that the car will offer a glass roof, at least optionally, and will likely offer a rear hatchback area rather than a trunk. At the very rear, you can see the active rear wing/spoiler.

Otherwise, the styling and details (as viewed from above) all look very much like the F-Type convertible we’ve come to know and rather seriously enjoy. For a deeper look into what makes it tick—from the base 340-horsepower supercharged V-6 to the V6 S’s 380-horsepower blown V-6, to the ferocious (and intense-sounding) 495-horsepower supercharged V8 S, watch our first drive video.

The same engines and features found in the convertible version of the F-Type are likely to be found in the F-Type Coupe.

Full details will be revealed in just a few weeks during the immediate run-up to the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
