At the recent New York Auto Show, the facelifted 2014 Chevrolet Camaro made its debut, albeit only in SS and the new Z/28 trim.

While we’ve had a close look at the track-focused Z/28, including producing our own video preview, we haven’t had much time with the rest of the 2014 Camaro range.

That’s because Chevy has staggered the launch of the rest of the range, presumably because the cars will feature much greater differentiation between each of the models this time around.

Today, we have Chevy’s own video preview of the 2014 Camaro SS model, featuring Camaro marketing manager John Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick confirms that there will be greater visual differentiation between V-6 and V-8 Camaro models for 2014. Though he doesn’t go into detail, he hints that the changes will include unique grille, aero and tail-light treatments.

Power outputs aren’t expected to deviate much from their current levels; the Camaro V-6 produces 323 horsepower, the Camaro SS puts out 426 horsepower and the Camaro ZL1 makes do with 580 horsepower. The new entry, the Camaro Z/28, has been confirmed to deliver 500 horsepower.

Stay tuned for the reveal of the rest of the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro range as we approach the market launch later in the year.

And as a bonus, we’ve included Chevy’s video preview of the Camaro Z/28 as well.
