Lamborghini marked its 50th anniversary this year and as part of the celebrations rolled out the striking Veneno at March’s 2013 Geneva Motor Show, a bespoke supercar based on the Aventador platform and with styling one could best describe as polarizing. Only four examples were promised, one to be retained by the factory and three to be delivered to Lamborghini’s most loyal customers.

Could one of those loyal customers already have lost interest in their Veneno and decided to sell? Probably not.

An exotic car dealership by the name of Refined Marques has posted a photo of the Veneno on its Facebook page, along with the message “For Sale.” A quick search of Refined Marques’ website, however, shows a number of other exotics up for sale, including some as yet unreleased models like Ferrari’s LaFerrari and hardcore 458 Italia supercars. The dealership also boasts having a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento available for immediate delivery.

If you're keen to own a Veneno, you probably have a better chance of contacting Lamborghini and begging them to build you one rather than go to an imaginative dealership claiming to have cars that haven't even been announced.

Note, while none of the original Venenos may be up for sale, well-heeled Raging Bull fans may soon be able to put down a deposit on a Veneno Roadster. Reports out of the U.K. claim Lamborghini is considering building up to nine open-top Venenos and is currently in the process of asking its closest customers whether they’d be interested in such a car.
