DeltaWing race car gets shiny new livery for 2013

The DeltaWing (formerly partnered with Nissan) race car has seen a surprising amount of success and adversity in its very short run at professional racing.

This season, it's wearing a much more easily visible livery of shiny silver. Hopefully it will be a bit more successful in avoiding the scrapes it ran into last season.

After being clobbered by a P1 car during the 24 Hours of Le Mans (where it started from experimental Garage no. 56), the Delta Wing was further assaulted at Petit Le Mans, when a GTC Porsche 911 rammed it just under the bridge before turn 11 at Road Atlanta, rolling it over and seriously damaging the car.

The new silver livery comes just ahead of its 2013 racing debut in the LMP1 class in the 61st 12 Hours of Sebring later this month.
