Welcome to the latest installment of This Week’s Top Photos. We have a number of supercars to show you as well as some very unique vehicles including a BMW Isetta minicar with a V-8 hanging out the back, and a Tumbler Batmobile commissioned by a couple of crazy lads from Saudi Arabia.

To start us off, we have another car out of the Middle East, the W Motors Lykan.

Admittedly, when we first heard about W Motors and its ambitious plans to build a supercar, almost a year ago now, we were a little skeptical, but the company has proven its doubters wrong and the world now has a new supercar to enjoy.

Unfortunately, that supercar costs a staggering $3.4 million, and only seven examples are planned, presumably all for the Middle East.

W Motors actually plans two versions of its Lykan supercar, the Hypersport, pictured here, and a Supersport, to be revealed later in the year.

Looking at the initial images of the Lykan Hypersport, it’s easy to spot influences from other supercars in its design, though we think the company’s designers have done a fine job of creating something unique--and we’re not just talking about the car’s diamond, gold and platinum-encrusted interior.

The squared-off front bumper, angular headlights and wide rear wheel arches create an aggressive look that hints at the performance contained within.

W Motors was founded in Beirut, Lebanon, by Sari El Khalil and is now based in the United Arab Emirates. Its chairman, Ralph R Debbas, is a graduate from the prestigious Coventry University School of Art and Design in the UK.

This next photo shows five new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadsters parked on a runway at Miami International Airport, with an American Airlines Boeing 777 sitting behind them. Lamborghini was down in Miami for the launch of its new convertible supercar and took some time out to drive the cars across the city’s airport at speeds of up to 210 mph.

We weren’t lying when we said a couple of guys from Saudi Arabia were planning to build their very own Tumbler Batmobile. Why? To drive in the 2013 Gumball 3000 rally, of course. Saudi Arabia’s Team Galag called on America’s Parker Brothers Concepts to build the Tumbler, which will feature a tube frame chassis, be able to seat three and pack a 500-horsepower Chevy V-8.

Fiat-Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne recently confirmed that the Alfa Romeo 4C would be on sale in the U.S. by the end of the year, and we think he may just be right this time. Prototypes of the car looking almost identical to the original concept version have been spotted testing in the colds of the Northern Europe and are hopefully almost ready for production.

2013 Aston Martin DB9

We’ve just tested the latest 2013 Aston Martin DB9 and can say, unequivocally, that this is definitely the best version yet. It’s got the subtle styling enhancements of the discontinued Virage plus the 510-horsepower rating of the old DBS, which means it’s now one of the best sorted GTs on the market.

Last weekend saw the first major motorsport event of the year, the Rolex 24 at Daytona. German brands were in dominant force, with BMW taking out the overall win plus the win in the Grand-Am Daytona Protoype class, followed by Audi’s win in the GT class and Porsche’s sweep of the new GX class.

This odd-looking thing is the combination of a BMW Isetta minicar and a Chevy V-8. The vehicle also received the front suspension from a BMW M3, a roll cage, a single racing bucket, and a single wheel out back that gets the unenviable task of translating roughly 730 horsepower into tire smoke.
