MINI revealed the 2013 John Cooper Works GP back in May, but we haven't seen it in in the metal until now. We spent some time at the MINI stand at the Paris Auto Show and let's just say we really like what we see.

Why are we already in love with the new MINI JCW GP? Aside from the adjustable race suspension along with chassis and aerodynamic elements unique to the GP branding, we can't help but get excited about the fact that it is 19 seconds quicker around the Nordschleife than the previous model.

While MINI isn't talking about the powertrain ratings yet, we know it will have more than 214 horsepower and the "race-spec" brakes should keep everything in control.

Only 2,000 MINI JCW GPs will be produced and that includes the U.S. allotment. While we wait to find out exactly how many will make it to the U.S., we suggest you browse through our live photo gallery.
