Ferrari’s [NYSE:RACE] Corse Clienti group, headquartered right next to the former office of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, continues to grow in popularity at each event held throughout the year. In addition to organizing races for owners of the 599XX and FXX experiment cars, the group is also in charge of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli race series, Gran Turismo Championship and the F1 Clienti program, the latter being the focus of our latest gallery.

For those Ferrari fans fortunate enough to gain a spot in the F1 Clienti program, they get to experience the thrill of Formula 1 racing but without any of the usual hassles.

Taking place at the world’s best race tracks, the most recent event was at Belgium’s Spa Francorchamps, members need only show up at the track. All car maintenance, transport and even the race suits are provided by Corse Clienti.

The group looks after the cars during the events, but its core activity is the maintenance and restoration of Ferrari single-seaters from 1970 to the present day. Thanks to an automated archive that can supply drawings for every part of these single-seaters, the department can get their hands on any car, be it recent or from the distant past. Taking on this tasks are the same mechanics who once attended to Lauda, Alboreto and Prost.

Among the amateur racers in this field, a good number have never been on a track before. The process takes a gradual approach, with personalized modifications available, including adjusting the cockpit area to suit the size and physique of the driver. At Spa-Francorchamps this past weekend, 18 members took to the hilly circuit, all of them coached at the event by former F1 driver Marc Gene.

As you may have guessed, joining this exclusive club is no easy task as you typically have to be a long-time buyer of Ferrari cars. However, if given the opportunity, we can think of few better ways to spend a weekend.
