Following on from its successful It’s Halftime In America commercial, which aired during Super Bowl XLVI and featured Hollywood celeb Clint Eastwood, Chrysler has released four new ads, one for each of its brands and all based around the same comeback theme.

The ads were all scripted and filmed during the creation of the original Super Bowl spot and feature several references to it.

For the Chrysler brand, the 300 sedan is the featured ride and the story is about a father’s pride in his adult son now making his own way in life. Chrysler says it encourages one to dream big, set their own course and “shoot for the stars”.

Dodge’s ad features the Challenger muscle car as well as a retired serviceman speaking about the importance of honor and family. In this spot, the focus is on the importance of family and the great country that is America.

Jeep uses the Wrangler in its ad and tells the story of a young daughter who is adapting to a new life and a new city with her family. It is about people reinventing themselves and persevering and embracing the spirit of American resilience.

Finally, there’s the most moving of the lot, Ram’s ad, which features its latest pickup. It tells the story of a wife’s admiration for her husband’s selfless and unwavering determination to provide for his family.
