The facelifted ‘Series II’ Phantom wasn’t the only new offering from Rolls-Royce at this week’s Geneva Motor Show.

Rolls-Royce also used the Swiss event to unveil a new two-tone color option for the Ghost.

The particular car used to preview the option was finished in Infinity Black, with a Cassiopeia Silver upper two-tone.

The latest bespoke option is being offered for the first time this year, complementing the popularity of two-tone Phantom models.

“Whether Ghost or Phantom, any Rolls-Royce is a work of art, taking its place in our clients’ luxury collections alongside yachts, helicopters and fine jewelry,” Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös said at the bespoke option’s announcement in Geneva. “I am delighted that we are now able to offer two-tone options for Ghost as well as for Phantom, features that once again extend the palette upon which a Rolls-Royce masterpiece can be painted.”

It’s no secret luxury automotive brands are a selling record level of customized cars, thanks mostly to discerning customers in China and the Middle-East. Orders made with Rolls-Royce’s customization division, Rolls-Royce Bespoke, have been so numerous that the automaker was forced to expand the unit, with new team members including designers, engineers and project management staff doubling the headcount to around 50 staffers last year.

Some of the items that can be ordered include versatile and unique picnic sets that are color-matched to a car’s interior, carefully selected luxurious interior materials or the creation of special storage units within the car.

One customer in the Middle-East has already ordered a two-tone Ghost. The particular order was for a car finished in Baynunah Brown but with Arizona Sun covering its bonnet, window surrounds, roof and luggage compartment. A gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament and double coach-line in gold finish the design.
