Our favorite Swedish designer Bo Zolland is back with another masterpiece, this time partnering with Swiss design and engineering firm Classic Factory to create the Lyonheart K sports car.

The pretty renderings depict a new model that will be entirely hand-built in Coventry, England by skilled craftsmen working for newly established British firm Lyonheart Cars.

Lyonheart's design philosophy is simple, use only genuine materials: carbon fiber, leather, veneer, polished stainless steel, brushed aluminum and chromed metal--nothing else.

This is reflected in its design, which mimics the look of classic British sports cars from the likes of Jaguar and Aston Martin. As its designers explain, the Lyonheart K is cool, elegant, refined, and understated, yet powerful and dynamic.

Power will come from a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 tuned to deliver 542 horsepower and 501 pound-feet of torque. Carbon fiber panels cover a state-of-the-art aluminum chassis, keeping the weight below 3,500 pounds. According to initial estimates, the Lyonheart K should go from 0-60 mph in under 4.0 seconds and easily reach its electronically limited top speed of 186 mph.

The order books for the 50 first Lyonheart K cars are now open, with starting prices coming in at 495,000 euros (approximately $654,728) before taxes. If you put your order down today, Lyonheart is predicting that it will take around 18 months before your car is delivered.
