Porsche's new 911 is a great sports car, though to some it may be less 911 than ever. We don't really care; it's undoubtedly one of the best combinations of sport, comfort, and style in the under-$100,000 price range. And now it's available as a convertible.

The 2012 Porsche 911 Cabriolet packs the same mechanical and visual updates as the coupe, but with the addition of a slicker convertible roof, which can open and close in just 11 seconds at speeds up to 37 mph. The roof itself is made of fabric-skinned composite panels attached to a lightweight magnesium frame with a real glass window glued in.

Pricing is a bit higher for the cabrio, starting at $98,250 for the Carrera and $108,950 for the Carerra S.
