Chrysler has big plans and bigger expectations for the upcoming 2013 Dodge Dart compact sedan.

Chrysler also has an active accessory and performance parts business, under the Mopar brand name, and Mopar is set to launch some 150 new products for the Dart.

While many of the parts are show, not go (like the “Grille Cross-Hatch Insert” and the “Front Fascia Applique”), there’s enough in the catalog to keep enthusiasts interested, too. For instance, we’d be saving up for the Performance Braking Kit, the 18-inch Wheels and maybe even the Front Chin Spoiler, Side Sills and Rear Diffuser.

There’s interior bits to make your life easier, too. Mopar will offer an industry-first wireless charging system for cell phones and other electronic devices, which will work along the lines of existing charging mats. An available in-vehicle router turns your Dart into a Wi-Fi hotspot, with connectivity up to 150 feet from the vehicle.

To make sure your new Dart stays where it belongs, Mopar is offering an Electronic Vehicle Tracking Systems (EVTS) that it also claims is an industry first. The Mopar EVTS will help locate a stolen vehicle, and unlike other vehicle-tracking systems, provides nationwide coverage with no subscription required.

A complete list of available Mopar accessories will be posted on the Mopar website closer to the Dart’s launch. We’ve got our fingers crossed that items like sway bars, lower springs, a coilover suspension and a performance exhaust make the list, too.
