Options, it seems are extremely limited. First, you choose between Premium or Limited trim levels, and then your choices are limited to color, transmission and a host of dealer-installed accessories like an ashtray, chrome fender trim or an auto-dimming mirror with a HomeLink transmitter.
There are no option packages for either trim level, since both Premium and Limited models come well equipped. Even Premium models get voice-activated navigation, a Torsen limited-slip differential and Bluetooth phone connectivity. Step up to the Limited, and you’ll get leather and Alcantara trimmed seats, a rear spoiler, keyless entry and fog lights, too.
According to Subaru, the Premium will run $26,270 with the six-speed manual transmission, or $27,370 with the six-speed automatic gearbox. Limited models will sticker at $28,270 with the manual or $29,370 with the automatic.
While those prices include a destination charge of $775, they don’t include the inevitable “Additional Dealer Markup,” which we guess will add anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000 to the sticker price. Subaru is only importing 6,000 copies, and we suspect that far more buyers would like to take one home.
