Each year the Corvettes at Carlisle meet sees more than 5,000 Corvettes from across the country gather in Carlisle, PA, making it one of the biggest annual Corvette events in the world.

The event is now in its 30th year and in celebration of the milestone Chevrolet has decided to roll out a very special Corvette concept car for the 2011 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show taking place next week in Las Vegas.

The one-of-a-kind ‘Vette has been dubbed the “Corvette Carlisle Blue Grand Sport Concept” and it introduces a new ‘Carlisle Blue’ exterior paint option that will hopefully be offered across the range. It also gets silver Torque 2 wheels and racing stripes to really set it apart.

In terms of performance modifications, there's a dual-mode exhaust system, Magnetic Ride suspension control, six-piston brake calipers, Goodyear tires, and a LS3 V-8 fitted with a dry sump oil system.

Inside, designers have added titanium colored leather with contrasting blue stitching, a nine-speaker Bose stereo, and a custom pedal package.

If you’re interested in attending next year’s Corvettes at Carlisle meet, or even participating, online registration for the event has now opened.
