The new Ferrari 458 Spider has flipped its lid in Frankfurt and we have a fresh batch of live photos of the stunning supercar.

As you’ll recall from our previous post, this convertible version of the 458 Italia gets an automated folding roof made from aluminum, which only takes 14 seconds to go up or down.

Thanks to its innovative design, the 458 Spider only weighs around 111 pounds more than the berlinetta.

Otherwise, the two cars are much the same, both coming powered by a high-revving 4.5-liter V-8 with 570 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
