Vintage racing cars that inspire all sorts of emotions, from the lascivious to the idyllic, are seemingly everywhere, and yet each is rarer than diamonds. This 1955 Frazer Nash Le Mans Coupe is a perfect example.

Powered by a BMW-Bristol 6 2.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine topped with triple carburetors, the Le Mans Coupe isn't exactly quick or powerful by today's standards (just look at those spindly headers!) but we're not sure we'd care. It's gorgeous, and it has a real racing pedigree: it competed at the 1959 24 Hours of Le Mans.

From the classic leather sport seats to the wood-rimmed steering wheel to the is-that-an-Alfa?-no!-a-Jaguar-no!-wait! exterior styling, this Frazer Nash is simply exquisite. Lucky us, its for sale. Unlucky us, it's priced at $650,000.

Time to sell that firstborn.
