The 2011 model-year Lexus lineup has seen very little in the way of updates or improvements, and now a straggler joins the bunch, the LS 460 Touring Edition, aimed at drawing younger buyers to the LS line.

If you're wondering what sort of younger buyer would drop $73,000 on a staid LS instead of, say, a $2,000 less expensive BMW 740i or even a much, much cheaper Hyundai Equus, you're not alone.

If, on the other hand, you've been dying to get into one, the Touring Edition package may be what you're looking for, with 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels on the rear-drive model (18s on the all-wheel-drive version), a sport body kit and grille, sport seats, and wood/leather trim on the steering wheel and shifter. Standard matte brown wood trim and black and tan leather seats round out the Touring's features.
