Custom supercars built around the C6 Chevrolet Corvette chassis are nothing new. In fact, it seems like one pops up nearly every month or so, the most famous being the Bertone Mantide and the Anteros range of coupes and convertibles.

However, it’s not every day that a custom Corvette-based supercar pops up in the heart of Germany. We’re talking about the new SC-1 from Endora-Cars, based not far from Audi’s hometown of Ingolstadt.

The designers of the car have gone for a distinctively retro look but have implemented enough modern touches to keep it looking fresh. Key features include its wedge shaped body, LED fog lights and side mounted exhaust tips.

Under the hood is something we’re sure you’ll recognize, the Corvette’s 6.2-liter LS3 V-8 engine, which keeps its standard 430 horsepower and 424 pound-feet of torque output. If this is not enough Endora will offer customers as an option the 505 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque 7.0-liter LZ7 V-8 from the Z06 or even the 638 horsepower and 604 pound-feet of torque supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 from the ZR1 supercar.

Every engine comes mated to a six-speed-manual gearbox, though customers opting for the base 430 horsepower mill can select an automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The company is currently taking orders for the car and plans to start production in the very near future.
