The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 is a very interesting car, and not just because it packs a new 3.5-liter V-6, a rather SLS-like nose, or a high-tech retractable hard top: it's soon to be the only manual-transmission offering in Mercedes' range. And it starts from $55,675, including destination and delivery fees.

Pricing for the 2012 CLS Coupe was also announced, starting at $72,175 including delivery, a price that fetches a CLS550 with 402 horsepower from a turbocharged, direct-injection V-8 engine. The CLS63 AMG version is good for 518 horsepower but will cost a minimum of $95,775 with delivery.

We've already driven the 2012 SLK350, and judged it a fair match for the likes of the Boxster and Z4. For more, be sure to read Marty Padgett's review of the car. For the new 2012 CLS-Class, catch my take on the AMG variant here.
