We've already seen a sketch of the 2011 Mopar Charger, and now Dodge has released details and a handful of photos.

The Mopar Charger will be powered by the 370-horsepower, 395 pound-foot 5.7-liter Hemi V-8, and the engine comes equipped with a specially-tuned controller that matches maximum engine power and the transmission's shifting to the differential. Speaking of the differential, the final drive ratio is now 3.91:1, and the W5A580 five-speed automatic transmission gets a pistol-grip shifter and AutoStick manumatic functionality.

The chassis has a 30-mm solid stabilizer bar in front and a 20-mm solid stabilizer bar in the rear, plus front and rear tower-to-tower cross-car braces. The rear brace can be removed in order to load luggage.

There are five-spoke 20-inch wheels to go along with vented front brake rotors that have dual-piston sliding calipers. The rear rotors are also vented, with single-piston calipers. The front rotors are 345 mm (13.5 inches) and the rears are 320 mm (12.5 inches).

The car is only available in "Pitch Black" paint with Mopar blue racing stripes. The only badges are two Mopar badges, one on the grille and one on the rear decklid. A rear spoiler is standard on Charger Special Edition models.

The interior features Katzkin leather seats with "Mopar Blue" thread and a matching leather-wrapped steering wheel. The instrument bezels receive unique trim and there's a plaque identifying the car as one of a limited-edition run of 1,000. Buyers also get a unique key fob. Other unique interior pieces include pedal covers, premium floor mats with the Mopar logo, and Mopar logos on the front door sills.

900 cars will be built for U.S. buyers, while 100 will be built for Canada. Owners will get an "owner kit" that comes in a custom box and features a certificate with the VIN, date of manufacture, and the number of the vehicle. There will also be Mopar merchandise in the kit.

The Mopar Charger will be built in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, with the Mopar upgrades taking place in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
