There's nothing wrong with a completely stock Land Rover Range Rover Sport. It's one of the most luxurious, capable on- and off-road performance SUVs available, and in supercharged trim it’s able to give some sports cars a run for their money.

However, the fact that it’s so good in stock form just means a platform for craziness for the tuners at Project Kahn.

The British tuner has now announced a new package, the Project Kahn RS300, which the firm claims is one of the fastest Range Rovers in the world.

As its name suggests, the RS300 Range Rover Sport produces a peak output of 300 horsepower from the turbodiesel version of the luxury SUV. Key in the development of the vehicle’s potent powerplant is legendary motorsports and engineering firm Cosworth.

To match this newfound performance, the Project Kahn enhanced Range Rover Sport has been given 20-inch ‘RS’ styled wheels and tires, and a 10 piece bodykit consisting of new bumpers, a mesh grille and color-coded side sills. One special touch is the Project Kahn side vents, built from solid billet aluminum.

Inside, there are perforated and quilted leather seats with Cosworth logos, as well as a quilted center glove box and instrument binnacle, an RS gear shifter with contrasting stitching, Cosworth blue dials and time clock, and special badging all around bearing the Cosworth name some more.

The good news is that the pieces required to build the Project Kahn RS300 are all available separately, but only for a limited time.
