2011 HPE600 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

Neither John Hennessey nor Jay Leno needs an introduction here at MotorAuthority so we’ll just cut straight to the chase. The two automotive industry minor celebs have come together for the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage which showcases the 2011 Hennessey HPE600 Camaro Convertible based on the popular open-top Chevy muscle car.

Using an Eaton TVS2300 Roots-type supercharger, cold-air induction, high-flow fuel injectors, stainless steel long-tube exhaust headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and unique ECU calibration, the HPE600 puts out 602 horsepower from the 6.2-liter V-8 engine found in the Camaro SS and will cost you about $16,000--plus the car itself.

See what Jay has to say about it, and then click here for all the details on the modified Camaro Convertible.
