We've seen the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 take to the Nurburgring, we've seen it cruise into Jay Leno's Garage, and we've seen it all over the airwaves since its debut at the Chicago Auto Show. But we've never seen it abused, misused, and intentionally tortured to the breaking point over 24 hours of on-track testing.

That is, we haven't seen it until now: the video below shows exactly that, with a team of expert drivers doing their worst to the car while engineers look on and evaluate the car's performance, durability, and keep their eyes out for weak spots.

As the team says, they're trying to break the car and see what the failure point is before a customer gets it out on track and has it happen to them.
