The 2011 Toyota Matrix will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show this week, featuring a range of small updates and the same familiar Matrix face we've all come to know.

Though it may underwhelm showgoers, the 2011 Matrix adds a new set of standard wheels and small interior redesigns for the interior, plus expanded standard equipment that includes an all-weather package, power windows/locks, cruise control, heated outside mirrors, and daytime runnign lights among other features.

Trim lines remain the same for 2011, with two Matrixes available: base and S. The S adds a sporty flair to the look and feel, plus available all-wheel drive paired with the 158-horsepower 2.4-liter engine. The base comes standard with a 1.8-liter engine, rated at 132 horsepower.

Fuel economy checks in the same for 2011 as well, at 25/32 mpg city/highway for the 1.8-liter when mated to the five-speed manual transmission, or 26/32 mpg paired with the four-speed automatic. The larger engine rates 21/28 mpg with the manual and 21/29 mpg with its five-speed auto.
