The 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible had been expected to make its appearance at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show earlier this week, but when the dust settled, it was nowhere to be found. Some of our Italian cohorts have solved that problem, however, leaking a full gallery of images of the car.

The 200 Convertible loses the roof and with it much of what made the 200 look not so much like a Sebring, to our eye at least. This, dear reader, is the Michael Scott car.

Sure, the front end is cleaned up and the interior looks a bit nicer, but it's really hard for us not to think "Sebring Part Deux" when we see the drop-top.

What do you think? Are we off-kilter from too many espresso-fueled late night auto show sessions? Or is this really just the same old pig in a new dress?
