The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has once again leaked onto the Web, and this time in more detail--though still without key information--than before.

Fortunately we've got you covered--on power, at least. Though rumors early on held that the next C63 AMG could get power from a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8 in the range of 550 horsepower, the 6.2-liter V-8 is expected to stay put for service in the C63 AMG, turning out 457 horses.

Performance will be brisk, but beyond that we can only guesstimate: 0-60 mph in the mid-four-second range, most likely, and a top speed somewhere near 186 mph if it's not electronically limited.  Limited models will be held to the usual 155 mph.

The sedan isn't the only variant of the coming 2012 C63 AMG: there will be a wagon (estate) and possibly a coupe as well, plus a Black Series car we've spied in testing.

Stay tuned for more info as we unearth more on the next hot midsize sedan from Mercedes.
