Chrysler has released a new television commercial in its ever-expanding ‘Imported From Detroit’ campaign, but while the previous ads all featured celebrities with a major connection with Detroit, the latest one treads a slightly different path.

It stars rapper and music producer Dr. Dre whose name is used for the premium sound system, dubbed Beats by Dr. Dre, currently available on the 2012 Chrysler 300S model. It’s essentially a 522-watt 12-channel amp with unique equalizer algorithms developed by Dre and fellow music producer Jimmy Iovine.

Sound gets pumped through 10 Beats Audio speakers and a trunk-mounted subwoofer, and according to Chrysler the result is studio-quality audio--the best system in cars, period.

The new ad, titled ‘Good Things’ aired for the first time last night during the NBA Championship. Enjoy the video below, then click here to watch the commercial that started it all. For all the specs on the 2012 Chrysler 300, meanwhile, click here.
