We're all big automotive enthusiasts here, but for those of us who don't have a Zondar R or Bugatti Veyron Super Sport in the garage, there's always video games.

All three platforms and most of the gaming publishers have wrapped up their press conferences at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. Here's the comprehensive look at how we will be driving our dreams in the virtual space.

Forza 4

The latest iteration of Forza Motorsport needs no introduction but we are still loving all the new additions. Kinect's motion tracking is being put to full use including head tracking at turns, changing electronic dashboard displays, and the Auto Vista mode for scoping out the fully modeled engine bay and cabin interiors with narration by Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear. Turn 10 studios is pulling all the stops wtih 80 manufacturers, more spectacular crashes with cars literally flipping over, and 16-man races fueled by community driven car clubs.

Need for Speed: The Run

On the other end of realism, Black Box Games is bringing the successor to EA's last arcade racer Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. The Run is a drive-or-die race from New York to San Francisco that features street racing, and foot races as it seems, while the mob shoot at you from a helicopter and the Police pursue you.

Mario Kart 3DS

Finally Nintendo is bringing Mario Kart to its 3DS portable console. The game is still a ridiculous fantasy kart racer, but now everyone has a hang-glider to catch longer air and a propeller for accelerating underwater. Gear heads will be happy to hear that you can switch out a cart's chassis and slap on bigger wheels, engine sizes will probably remain linked to characters though.
