Acura has unveiled an interesting new promotion for its new 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon. Since the car is aimed at young, athletic types, Acura is giving away one of its new wagons through Facebook with its "Compete Like a Pro" contest.

The idea is simple. Enter the contest by going to Acura's Facebook page and creating a profile. Select a sport, and explain why you should win the car. Get the most votes, and you will have a TSX parked in your driveway before you know it. Qualifying sports include rock or ice climbing, any sort of cycling except stationary, paddleboarding, skiing, snowboarding, surfin

g, whitewater kayaking, and anything else you might see in a Mountain Dew commercial.

Interesting thing is, there doesn't seem to be a requirement for actually doing the sport, much less being a pro at it. So if your preferred sport is "faking it," knock yourself out.

Of course, if you are a snowboarding, kayaking, wakeboarding, paddleboarding surfer, you could probably do worse than a TSX. It has plenty of cargo space for your active sports paraphernalia, it looks pretty darn good, and gets decent fuel economy since it only comes with a four-cylinder engine. The TSX sedan is also a decent handling small sedan, and according to High Gear Media's team, the TSX Sport Wagon's pretty nifty, too.

In any case, the contest sounds pretty low-effort--and if you win, hey, free car, right?
