If you’ve got a longing for an Italian supercar, but find yourself disenchanted by the current offerings from Ferrari, you’ll be glad to know that Lamborghini has priced its 2012 catalog. As in 2011, the Lamborghini product line is limited to two models, the Gallardo and the Aventador, but there’s a Gallardo variant for nearly every taste.

The “entry level” Lamborghini in 2012 is the Gallardo LP 550-2 Coupe Valentino Balboni edition, which features a 5.2-liter V-10 sending its 550 horsepower to the rear wheels. Pricing starts at $193,895, including the $2,995 destination charge and a $3,000 gas-guzzler tax for the six-speed manual. Opt for the E-Gear paddle-shifted transmission, and the price jumps to $202,995.

Next up is the Gallardo LP 550-2 Bicolore, a limited edition of the rear-drive Gallardo with no available manual transmission. Pricing begins at $196,995, including the $2,995 destination charge and the $2,100 gas guzzler tax. Both the Valentino Balboni and Bicolore Edition Gallardo’s are special order only.

The entry-level all-wheel-drive Lamborghini is the Gallardo LP 560-4 Coupe, which raises the 5.2-liter V-10 engine’s output to 560 horsepower. Opt for the six-speed manual, and this version will cost you $207,995, including destination charge and gas guzzler tax. If you want the E-Gear option, the price begins at $217,095.

If you want your Gallardo in topless form, the LP 560-4 Spyder, which uses the same drivetrain as the LP 560-4 Coupe, starts from $231,395 with the six-speed manual transmission. Opt for the E-Gear transmission, and the price rises to $240,495, inclusive of destination and gas guzzler tax.

If a less-civilized Gallardo is more to your liking, the 570 horsepower Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera (Italian for Super Light) begins at $243,595 with the manual transmission, destination charge and gas guzzler tax. Opting for the E-Gear paddle-shifted version will cost you $242,695, inclusive, which is $900 less than the manual gearbox.

The range-topping Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante is a topless version of the Gallardo Superleggera, and it’s priced from $254,695 for the manual transmission, or $253,095 for the E-Gear transmission.

Finally, there’s only one version of the 700 horsepower, all-wheel-drive, seven-speed E-Gear equipped Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. Its price, including destination charge and gas guzzler tax, is $393,695.
